Today is the last day to order the stamp set called Thoughtful Branches with its matching set of Framelits called Beautiful Branches. After today, this set will not be available to order because it is a limited set. I posted a few cards I made with this set. You can see them HERE and HERE.
If you would like to order it, below are the order numbers. You can also click on the picture of the set at the bottom of this post.
Today is also the last day to use your Bonus Coupons so if you earned them in July, don’t forget to redeem them today. You can use them to buy this set!
Whenever I need a little inspiration I look for a challenge to do. I usually like to do sketch challenges because I find them easier. I just look at the sketch and figure out what stamp set I own that will fit it. In this case, I used a sketch challenge from Fab Friday. It is an old challenge so I didn’t enter it but it gave me inspiration so I used it anyway. Here is the sketch.
I used the stamp set called Butterfly Basics. It is an older set that I haven’t used in a while so it was nice to re-discover it.
I haven’t used my Swirly Bird Stamp Set or Swirly Scribbles Thinlits in a while so I thought I would bring them back out. They are such fun to play with that it reminded me of how much I like this bundle. Who doesn’t like scribbles, flowers, birds, kites, sailboats and splatters? It has everything you could want!
First I decided to use a couple of the new In Colors for this card called Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy. Then I cut the scribble out using our Silver Foil Paper to add a little shine to the card. The “thanks” is from the Hello You Thinlits.
Here is a picture of Madelyn at the big pool for the first time.
It is Friday which means it is time for another Stamp Off Challenge. This time our challenge is to use jars! That isn’t too hard since Stampin’ Up! just came out with an awesome stamp set and matching Framelits!
Here is my card:
Of course, I used the Jar of Love stamp set with the Everyday Jars Framelits. You can save 10% by purchasing both in a bundle. The flowers are from the stamp set called Wild About Flowers. I always love those flowers because they remind me of my childhood when we visited my grandparents who lived in Vermont. We would spend every vacation there. They owned 100 acres in the middle of no where but as kids, we loved it. They had a pond that my grandfather stocked with fish so we could swim or go fishing. I have lots of good memories from there.
If you look closely you can see a sneak peek from the 2016 Holiday Catalog. I used a piece of the new Glitter Ribbon in Sweet Sugarplum around the top of the jar. I love sparkle ribbon! Starting September 1st you can get a pack of two rolls. One is in Sweet Sugarplum and the other is silver. It is gorgeous!
The way the weather has been around here, I am beginning to think that maybe I will see Flamingos outside my window soon! This summer has been hot, humid and very, very dry. Thankfully, I live on Lake Ontario so we aren’t in danger of having a drought, but the farmers are having a tough time. The grass is all brown and the leaves are starting to fall. On one hand, if you were on vacation this summer, it didn’t really matter what week you picked because every single one was beautiful. Rob is happy because he barely had to mow, but it is getting to the point where we desperately need rain even if it ruins a planned outside day.
Pop of Paradise is a very cute stamp set that comes in rubber (clear or wood mount) and has eight stamps that include a flamingo, a pineapple, a couple of different leaves and some cute sentiments. Flirty Flamingo is the perfect color to use with this stamp set for the flamingo, of course. I stamped off (this is where you ink the stamp and then stamp it once on a scrap paper and then on your cardstock) the leaves so that they would be lighter for the background. Then, of course, I had to add some bling!
Here are three cards I made using the limited time only stamp set called Thoughtful Branches and the matching Thinlits called Beautiful Branches. I already showed you a few spring or summer cards using this set. Now you can see how it can be used for Fall, Winter and Christmas too. This has got to be one of my most favorite stamps sets because it can be used year round. There aren’t many stamps sets that can do that! If you buy the stamp sets and the Thinlits in a Bundle you can save 10%. That is even better! Remember, this set is only available during the month of August or while supplies last. If you want one, you need to order it soon! There is only one more week left!
Today is my birthday! It is a BIG birthday! It is a really BIG birthday! I don’t really mind because I guess turning a big number is better than not!
In celebration of my birthday I am going to give away some product I have from the upcoming Holiday Catalog to one lucky person who orders at least $25 worth of product (before tax and shipping) today and uses the hostess code below. I will randomly pick that person from everyone that orders.
Here is the hostess code: ST2ZTNYA
Fine Print: You will need to order by midnight tonight and you have to use the hostess code in order to qualify for the prize. Club members are eligible to win but this order does not count towards your minimums. You can not choose “No Contact” when ordering or I won’t know who you are.
