It is Friday which means it is time for another BS & J Productions Stamp Off Challenge. This week our challenge is to make a fun fold card. I do have to mention how awesome Jackie is for coming up with these challenges every week. She keeps us going and I truly appreciate her.
I decided to something a little different than a normal fun fold card (are you surprised?).
I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits to make the outside of my card. I used some awesome new Designer Series Paper that will be in the new 2017 Annual Catalog beginning in June. It is called Delightful Daisy. You will love the color combinations in this paper. Actually all the products I used for this card will be in the new catalog. The flower is a new stamp set called Daisy Delight. It has a matching punch called Daisy. By the way, the new catalogs are here so if you would like one, let me know!
Inside the Mini Treat Bag is a card.
All the stamps on this project are included in the Daisy Delight Stamp Set. Aren’t they just adorable?
Now let’s go see what Jackie & Buffy made for their fun fold card.

One of the great things I love about Stampin’ Up! is how versatile their products are. You can mix and match stamp sets, dies and colors. Everything coordinates so you don’t have to guess what goes with what.
I used a die set on this card called Window Box Thinlits. Now, as you can see, I didn’t make a box with it but instead I used a couple of the other dies in this set to make a card. The candles and the polka dot squares were cut using these dies.
The banner is from Birthday Banners, Banners For You and Bunches of Banners Framelits Dies. You can save 10% by purchasing the Banners For You stamp set and Bunches of Banners Framelits in a Bundle until May 31st. After that, the Bundle price goes away.
The best part of this card is all the stamp sets and dies are being carried over to the new Annual Catalog!
Butterfly Basics is another stamp set that is going to carry over into the 2017 Annual Catalog. One of the great things about this set is it comes in Wood Mount, Clear Mount and Photopolymer. I love it when Stampin’ Up! makes everyone happy and gives us lots of choices. Each of these materials has it advantages so you can choice whichever one is your favorite. Rubber is great for stamps with a lot of details. Photopolymer is great because it is clear so you can see exactly where you are stamping.
The colors I used on this card are Island Indigo, Old Olive and Very Vanilla. Sometimes Very Vanilla doesn’t show up well in pictures but I love how it softens the look of a card. By the way, the 2017 Annual Catalog that comes out on June 1st is going to have Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock. That is awesome!
Vertical Greetings is a stamp set that is in the 2016 current Annual Catalog and will also be carried over in the new Annual Catalog that comes out June 1st. It is a great stamp set because all the sentiments are vertical instead of horizontal. This allows you to stamp a sentiment in a small skinny section of your card. It is extremely popular with my customers because it is so different.
I inked the flowers and pot using my Stampin’ Write Markers. They are great for coloring one stamp different colors. Al you need to do is color each section and then “huff” over the ink to moisten it. It is really easy to do and works well.
I embossed the sentiment with Versamark and then sprinkled White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on top of it. Then I heated it up with my Heat Tool to melt the embossing powder.
Emory Jade is 11 weeks old already and is growing like a weed. Here is a picture of her with her Dad at a concert. I think she likes the music!
TGIF and time for another Stamp Off Challenge. This time we have a color challenge. I love these colors separately but when you put them together, they are even better!
I decided to make a masculine card using these colors.
I chose the stamp set Guy Greetings. It is the best set to use when making a masculine card. I am so happy that Stampin’ Up! is carrying it over to the new catalog. This set has 22 stamps and you can get it in wood mount, clear mount and Photopolymer.
For the background I used the Hexagon Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder. Have you tried these new folders yet? You really need to. They emboss a deeper pattern into the paper which makes it look 3D. Here is a hint: Stampin’ Up! is going to have five of these folders in the new catalog! You are going to love them!
Now, let’s go see what Buffy and Jackie made with these awesome colors.
