Beautiful Day

This is one of the cards we made at our monthly stamp club meeting.  It uses the stamp set in the 2018 Occasions Catalog called Beautiful Day.  This stamp set is perfect to use with the new Brusho Crystal Colour.  Yes, even though I am from the United States I spelled that correctly.  It is kind of an ongoing joke with my fellow Canadian demonstrators.  We claim they don’t know how to spell color or neighbor and they claim we always forget the u.  Brusho actually spells it with a u which made my Canadian friends happy.

First I stamped the butterfly with Versamark and then embossed it with White Embossing Powder on Whisper White cardstock.  Then I used my Aqua Painter to lay water down and sprinkled Yellow and Gamboge (orange) Brusho on top.  The water makes the crystals melt and spread.  After the yellow and gamboge covered the entire butterfly I sprinkled the Gamboge (orange) on top and spritzed it lightly with my Stampin’ Spritzer.  I wanted it to look spotted so I didn’t use a lot of water.  Then we cut out the butterfly by hand.

Lastly, we sprinkled some blue Brusho onto white cardstock and again, lightly spritzed it, stamped the sentiment and added the Tutti-fruitti Adhesive Backed Sequins.
