Sailing Home

Hello everyone.  Welcome to another BS & J Productions with Buffy, Jackie and me.  Today’s Stamp Off Challenge is to use our favorite new InColor.

I couldn’t really decide which one color was my favorite so I decided to use my two favorites:  Pretty Peacock and Seaside Spray.  I wasn’t sure how well these two colors went together but I think they look great.

This was a fairly simple card to make.  I used the stamp set called Sailing Home.  I first stamped the sailboat and the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink and cut it out using the Smooth Sailing Dies.  Then I cut out the wheel and the lines on the bottom and top of the card also using dies from this set.  I love it when Stampin’ Up!® adds extra dies that don’t necessarily cut out an image from the stamp set but can be used on their own.

I ran a piece of Seaside Spray cardstock using the High Seas 3D folder.  You can’t see it that well in the photo above so here is a close up.

Now let’s go see what Buffy’s and Jackie’s favorite new InColors are.  I don’t know what Jackie will chose but I am guessing that Buffy’s is Rococo Rose.  Let’s go see if I am correct.

  1. Susan I love this color combination and they way you’ve used multiple strips of the “rope” to segment the card. It really adds personality and interest to your card

  2. I love this card, Susan! I thought you might pick Seaside Spray – and it’s perfect with the Sailing Home bundle. I did not realize how gorgeous Pretty Peacock and Seaside Spray were together. Love it!
