Today’s Stamp Off Challenge by Buffy, Jackie and me is a sketch challenge. These are my favorite challenges because, frankly, I find them the easiest. All you have to do is look at the sketch and then pick out some products that would go with it. Here is the sketch.
I decided to use Beautiful Bouquet to make a card using this sketch.
This is such a fun set. It has matching Framelits called Bouquet Bunch and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle. There are 37 stamps in this set and 21 dies! That is an amazing amount. There are 15 sentiments included and some of them are for the inside of a card.
The Designer Series Paper is called Delightful Daisy. The thing I love the most about Stampin’ Up’s Designer Series Paper is it is two sided so if you don’t like one side you can use the other. The only problem I run into is most of the time I like both sides and can’t make up my mind which to use!
Now let’s go see what Jackie and Buffy made using this card sketch. I am sure we will love both of them!
Don’t forget there is a little more than a week left for Bonus Days and The Christmas in July Starter Kit Offer. Hurry before these great events are gone!
As usual I took a couple of liberties with the sketch.
I used the stamp set called Hello Friend. This stamp set goes with the card kit called Hello Friend Heat Embossing Project Kit, although I didn’t use the kit. You can buy the stamp set separately if you wish. It is an adorable set. I love the wreath and the bold sentiment.
I stamped the wreath in Lemon Lime Twist and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Then I stamped the sentiment in Dapper Denim over the wreath.
The Designer Series Paper is called Eastern Palace Specialty and I used the Lemon Lime Twist 1/4″ Ombre Ribbon.
TGIF because it is time for another Buffy, Jackie and Susan Stamp Off Challenge! This week our challenge is to use Framelits or Thinlits in our project.
Now that I look at the picture of our challenge, I realize that maybe I read it wrong. Maybe we were supposed to frame something. Hmmm. Well, if that is the case, I have once again broken the rules. Oh wait. There are no rules! I love these challenges!
Well, maybe I did ok. I did “frame” the sentiment with flowers. I am going with that!
I used the stamp set called Beautiful Bouquet on this card. This set has matching Framelits called Bouquet Bunch and you can save 10% by purchasing them both in a Bundle. The sentiments come from the stamp set called Super Duper, which has large sentiments that I love. The Designer Series Paper I used is called Colorful Theory.
Now, let’s go see if Buffy or Jackiebroke the rules followed the challenge the way it was meant to be.
I just love this new Hostess stamp set that is in the 2017/2018 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. I think it has to be my most favorite Hostess Set ever. There are 60 stamps in the set. Yes, I said 60! That is an amazing number of stamps in one set. The only problem is you can only get it with a qualifying personal, workshop or group order. You don’t even have to have a workshop or party if you don’t want to. You can just get a group of friends and place an order together. I could set up a group order for you and give each of you a Hostess Code. It is very easy to do.
This set is a two (and sometimes three) step stamp set. You stamp the outside of the houses with one stamp and the insides with another. That way you don’t have to use markers to color each stamp set the different colors. They are really easy to line up because they are Photopolymer which means they are clear.
If you are interested is finding out more about a group order or if you want to get a bunch of friends together to stamp, just shoot me an email. I can explain how it works.
Good morning everyone. It is time for another Stamp Off Challenge. This time we have an InColor Challenge. We can use at least two InColors for our creations.
I needed to make a masculine birthday card so I did not have a lot of choice in the colors I used so I decided to go with Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy. I thought it needed a little pop of color so I used a small piece of Lemon Lime Twist.
I used the stamp set called Super Duper. This is a great set because it has big sentiments (I love big sentiments). I stamped it three times (once on Whisper White cardstock, once on Dapper Denim and once on Lemon Lime Twist) and then cut out all the pieces and put them back together. The Designer Series Paper is new and called Pick A Pattern.
Don’t forget today and tomorrow are the last days I am offering FREE Shipping on all orders over $50 as a way of saying thank you to all of my customers! You can place an order online using the Hostess Code PJ6PNF26 and I will rebate you your shipping costs by PayPal or check. You have to order before 6:00 PM EST tomorrow to get this fabulous deal and you have to use the Hostess Code in order to qualify. This offer does not include expedited shipping.
This is another card I made for my sister to use as invitations to her son’s rehearsal dinner. A couple of weeks ago I told you how she decided to do something different with her invitations. She wanted to send each person a different card with the invite inside of it.
I made this card using the stamp set called Blooms & Wishes. I am so excited that this is one of the stamp sets that is going to be carried over into the new Annual Catalog. The colors I used are Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Blushing Bride, Wisteria Wonder and Emerald Envy.
To cut out the sentiment I used Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layered Ovals Framelits Die. They layered together nicely.
This is a quick and easy card you can make in a very short time. I think it would be a good masculine card and a feminine card. You could do it in different colors to change it up.
I used the stamp set called Work of Art to make it. I am so happy this set is being carried over into the new Annual Catalog. I was going to make it all in Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim but decided it needed a pop of color so I added Cherry Cobbler. The new Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies also give it a little more definition then just using a plain circle. The Stitched Shape Dies will be in the new Annual Catalog that begins on June 1st. Stampin’ Up! decided to release them early. They became so popular that they sold out in a couple of weeks! Luckily Stampin’ Up! got them back in inventory so they are available again.
