It has been an awesome few months but, as they say, all good things must come to an end. Honestly, I am not sure who said that but not ALL good things have to end but SOME good things must come to an end. One of those good things is the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration. There are only two days left until this amazing deal ends. Have you gotten everything you want? Does anyone ever get everything they want? Well, don’t miss out on this deal because it won’t be back for another year.
This card was made with a few different Sale-a-bration items. The Designer Series Paper was a new addition in February. I think it is my favorite Designer Series Paper ever. It is called Springtime Foils and is absolutely gorgeous. It comes in five fabulous foil designs. One of the great things you can do it with is color it with the Stampin’ Blends.
Another product I used for the sentiments in this card is a stamp set called Amazing You. Plus the word “amazing” is from a set of dies called Celebrate You. All three of the items I used (Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper, Amazing You and Celebrate You Thinlits Dies) are available for free with a qualifying order until tomorrow, Saturday, March 31st.
Don’t forget, not only can you earn FREE merchandise with a qualifying purchase you can also get an extra $25 in Hostess Benefits with a $250 workshop (or order) or you can join my Stampin Up! family and get a $125 worth of product for $99 PLUS your choice of TWO FREE STAMP SETS (an added value of up to $101)!!
The internet is really an amazing thing. You can find anything on there. Now, you can’t always believe everything you see and read but there is a lot of useful information out there. If you are looking for new stamping ideas or techniques there is a wealth of web sites out there. The best part is it is ok to use a technique you found. It is called CASEing (Copy and Share Everything). There is a certain etiquette that if you know where you got the idea from, you should say so but sometimes you don’t know where it came from. All you need to do is say that you “found this on the internet but don’t know who came up with it”.
I happen to find this technique using masks or stencils on the internet. Jennifer McGuire did a video about it and I thought it was amazing. All I did was place a mask over a piece of Whisper White cardstock (it helps to use Washi Tape to keep it in place) and sponge color over it. Then I moved the mask a bit and sponge another color. I did this four times to make the background in this card. The colors I used are Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Sweet Sugarplum and Pool Party. Each time I moved the mask so there was only white space and then sponged. Isn’t it awesome?!
The stencil I used is from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks set. It was simple to do and I love the results.
The word “celebrate” is a die from the Sale-a-bration Catalog called Celebrate You Thinlits. The ‘you” is from another Sale-a-bration item called Amazing You. You can get either or both of these items with a qualifying order. The leaves are from the Leaf Punch.
This is another card that we made at our monthly stamping club meeting. We used the stamp set called Bubble Over with the matching framelits called Bottles and Bubbles. You can purchase both of these in a Bundle and save 10% on the purchase price.
The card also uses a couple of products that you could earn for free with a qualifying purchase. The Designer Series Paper we used is called Bubbles and Fizz. It matches the Bubble Over Bundle perfectly, You can’t buy this paper. You can only get it for free. Isn’t that just awful?! (Ha!). This paper is full of bright colors. The best part of Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper is that is has two different patterns on each side. All the patterns in this set are gorgeous!
The other product we used on this card is from another item you can get for free. The stamp set is called Amazing You and includes the celebrate sentiment. Again, you can’t buy this set, you can only get it for free with a qualifying order. There is only one month left to Sale-a-bration so better hurry before these free items are unavailable for good!
Yesterday we finally got our countertops installed. It seems like it has been forever since I actually had countertops. You don’t realize how much you need them until you don’t have them. I was able to take a folding table and lay it over the cabinets but you had to be careful not to knock into it or it would fall off. Now all I need is my dishwasher, sink and backsplash installed. I am hoping the sink and dishwasher will be today! Keep your fingers crossed. The backsplash will take a few more days since I haven’t really even picked it out yet! When it is all done, I will post before and after pictures. By the way, if you live locally and you need a good contractor let me know. I’ll pass the info of mine to you. He has been awesome!
I thought this card would be appropriate because I will be celebrating when my kitchen is all done. It uses two Sale-a-bration items. The flower comes from the stamp set called Amazing You. The sentiment is from Celebrate You Thinlits. You can get both of these for FREE with a qualifying order. I used my Pool Party Stampin’ Blends to coloring the flower.
Don’t forget it is Sale-a-bration time! Earn FREE merchandise with a qualifying purchase! Get an extra $25 in Hostess Benefits with a $250 workshop (or order)! Join my Stampin Up! family and get a $125 worth of product for $99 PLUS your choice of TWO FREE STAMP SETS (an added value of up to $101)!!
Amazing You is one of the stamp set in the 2018 Sale-a-bration Catalog that you can earn for free with a qualifying order. Yes, I said free! Everyone loves free! The “YOU” is from a die set called Celebrate You and the Designer Series Paper is called Bubbles & Fizz. Both of these items are also in the Sale-a-bration Catalog too!
I made this card using this stamp set in my Stamparatus. In case you forgot what a Stamparatus is you can click HERE for a reminder. If you watch the video in that link you can see how the plates of the Stamparatus move up and down so it was so easy to make this card. I just stamped it once at the top and moved the plate down one notch and stamped it again. Then I repeated that two more times. Each time it stamped perfectly aligned and perfectly straight. Have you ever tried to do that freehand? I tried once and it ended up in the garbage. In any case, it is too late to reserve your Stamparatus but it will be coming out in the 2018/2019 Annual Catalog in June.
The sprinkles this card are from the stamp set called Picture Perfect Birthday which is in the 2018 Occasions Catalog.
This is one of the cards we made at our monthly stamping club meeting last week. It uses three products from the new Sale-a-bration Catalog.
The flowers are from a stamp set called Lots Of Lavender. This set is a two step stamp set which means it takes two or more stamps to make an image. In this case, it actually takes six different stamps! First we stamped the outline in Elegant Eggplant. Then we stamped the inside of the flowers with Wisteria Wonder. The leaves and the stems were stamped with Old Olive and lastly the inside of the bow is Elegant Eggplant. It is not very hard to line everything up because the stamps are Photopolymer so you can see right through them.
“Amazing” is part of another product you can earn for free with a qualifying order. It is a set of three dies called Celebrate You Thinlits. The other two dies in the set are “celebrate” and “you”. This set of dies actually goes with another stamp set called Amazing You. This is where the “you” stamp is from.
Remember, you can get all three of these products with a qualifying order because there is not limit to how much you can earn.
